Wilma Frances Underwood of Jacksonville, Arkansas, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 10, 2013. Wilma was born November 26, 1930, in Lonoke, Arkansas, the daughter of Albert Jefferson Johnson and Ruth Mae Warner Johnson. She leaves to cherish her memory husband Haskel Lee Underwood, Sr. of Jacksonville, whom she married Aug 23, 1947, in Lonoke; two daughters, Dianne (Kenny) Ramsey of Benton, and Linda (James) Lipsey, of Sherwood; one son, Haskel Lee (Sheila) Underwood, Jr. of Little Rock; five grandchildren, Kenneth Ramsey, Jr., Andrea Riggan, Matthew Lipsey, Sarah Lipsey, and Lee Shaddix; four great-grandchildren, Hannah Shaddix, Madison Riggan, Meredith Lipsey, and Russell Lipsey; one surviving sister, Clara Edith Hester of Tyler Texas. Wilma was an active member of Apostolic Church of North Little Rock for over 50 years and worked at Timex Corporation for 30 years as a quality control specialist. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and a friend to everyone she met. Her life served as a living testimony to the love of Christ. Visitation is Friday, April 12, at Boyd Funeral Home in Lonoke from 6-8 p.m., graveside service at Lonoke Cemetery, Saturday, April 13, at 11 a.m. Memorials may be made in Wilma's name to Apostolic Church of North Little Rock, 4314 Landers Road, NLR, Ark. 72117.
