Julian G. Taggart

Julian G. "Bo" Taggart was born Jan. 5, 1923 in Little Rock to F.N. and Willie Taggart. He died peacefully April 11, 2013 at Saline Memorial Hospice. Bo was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Maxine Lively Taggart; daughter, Glenda Sue Taggart Mesa; sisters Katherine Borghetti and Clara Mains; and brothers, Beyrl and Tom Taggart. He is survived by his sons, Frank Taggart (Iris) of Benton, Jim Taggart (Robin) of Perryville and Dan Taggart of Gainesville, Fla. Bo also leaves behind grandchildren, Nathan Taggart, Faith Taggart, Jennifer Cruz, Heather Griffin, Christina Taggart and numerous great-grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews and many friends. He served with honor in WWII as a paratrooper in the 82 Airborne. He worked as a floor mechanic for years, installing tile floors in many of this areas public buildings and schools. Bo loved to hunt, fish, golf, and go for walks and through these hobbies, he made many great friends. Graveside services are scheduled for Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Alexander. Visitation will be held Monday April 15, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home (315-4947) in Benton.
