Mary Jo Lanham

Mary Jo Lanham, 82, of Little Rock, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord Monday, April 15, 2013. She worked as a secretary for Arkansas Power & Light Co., then for American Legion Convention Corp. and retired with the Arkansas Highway Department. She enjoyed family and family-oriented events and her gardening. Mary Jo was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Carrie (Harrison) Pruitt; stepson Brent Lanham; sister Vernell Cady; brothers Louie Pruitt, Tom Pruitt, Clarence Pruitt and Jim Pruitt; and brother-in-law Robert D. Owen. She is survived by her husband, Jack Lanham; son, Charles McDonald (Anita); granddaughter, Lyndsay Salvador; sister, Janie Owen; sisters-in-law Susie Pruitt and Opal Pruitt; stepson Kent Lanham; stepdaughters Maxie Williams (Clyde), Reva Myers, Jackie Works, and Judy Talley; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to Arkansas Hospice, 14 Parkstone Circle, North Little Rock, Ark. 72116. Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe.
