David L. Fairchild

David L. Fairchild, 71, of Benton passed away Monday April 15th at UAMS Medical Center. Dave was born July 27, 1941 in Ottumwa, Iowa. Dave was a member of Salem United Methodist Church. He was employed at McKimmey Real Estate in North Little Rock for many years, and was a US Air Force Veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Florence Fairchild of Iowa. Dave is survived by his wife, Sondra, sons, Dennis Fairchild and wife Eve, Jacksonville, Florida; Darrin and wife, Holly Fairchild, Pella, Iowa; Randy Linestand and wife, Charlotte, Rothdrum, Idaho; grandchildren, Will, Grant, Luke, Andrew, Kaitlyn Fairchild, Megan Linestand, Stepsons, PJ and Todd Sanders, Benton; step-daughters, Lauren, Morgan, Cecily Sanders, siblings, Larry Fairchild, Beverly Jones and Peggy Fairchild, of Iowa; sister-in-laws, Janette Lovell, Beverly Loeschner, brother-in-law, Ron Ulmer. Family gives special thanks to the staff at UAMS 4th floor ICU for their compassionate care of Dave. Visitation will be Saturday, 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. before service time.
