Marie V. Young Davis

Mrs. Marie V. Young Davis was born in Arkansas City, Ark. to the late George and Pearlie S. Young. She passed away Saturday April 13, 2013 at St. Vincent Arkansas Hospice and went home to be with her heavenly father. Mrs. Davis was a retired public school teacher. She was preceded in death by her husband Jimmy N. Davis; daughter, Roe Jeanous Austin and granddaughter, Artency L. Davis. She is survived by three children; Jimmy N. Davis II, Rhea Mona Davis and Ceebra B. Davis, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Visitation for Mrs. Davis will be on Friday April 19, 2013 at 11 a.m. with funeral services following at 12 noon at Mt. Zion Baptist Church 908 Cross St. Little Rock.
