Martha Rose Bauer

Martha Rose Bauer, 85, of Benton, passed away April 18, 2013. She was born January 17, 1928 in Kirby, Arkansas to the late Ed and Ada Watson Walston. Martha was a member of the Northside Church of Christ and former member of Delta Kappa Gamma. She was a teacher for over 25 years. Martha was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Frank Bauer. Survivors, daughter, Angela Bauer and sister, Edna Walston, both of Benton. Chapel Services by Ashby Funeral Home will be 10 a.m. Monday with Bro. Joel Lewis officiating. Burial will be at County Line Cemetery in Nashville, Arkansas at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Visitation will be Sunday, 2: p.m. until 4 p.m. at Ashby Funeral Home. The family would like to thank all of her caregivers at Heartland Rehab in Benton for all their excellent care over the years.
