Veva Dale Crain, 84, of Perry, passed away Saturday, April 20, 2013. She was born in Jessieville, Ark., a daughter of Wesley Graves and Esta Spears Graves. She was the widow of Gerald D. Crain, retired from Virco Manufacturing and was a member of Perryville Pentecostal Church. She is survived by three sons, Donald Crain (Jane) of Bigelow, Denny Crain of Hollis, and Britt Crain (Sharon) of Houston; four daughters, Carolyn Castleberry (J.W.) of Jessieville, Linda Coles (Richard) of Oppelo, Geraldine Fortier of Morrilton, and Beverly Lynch (Lynde) of Clinton; four brothers, Elmer Graves (Elwanda), Grover Graves (Edith), Darrell Graves all of Jessieville, and Delmer Graves (Bonnie) of Alabama; sisters, Versee Crain of Hollis, Josephine Burroughs (David) of Hot Springs, and Ellen Sharp of Lonsdale; 27 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Ronnie Crain; brother, Dured Graves; sisters, Vivian Cain and Halene Harper; son-in-law, Rick Fortier and a great-granddaughter, Allison Nicole Biggs. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, April 22, 2013 at Jesus Name Pentecostal Church at Hollis. Burial will be at Goats Bluff Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.
