Edward William "Bill" Jaros, 77, of Barling, died April 22, 2013 in his home. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on December 30, 1935 to Loretta and Roy Jaros Sr. He was a Vietnam War Veteran and retired from the United States Army. He later retired from Gerber. He was an avid bowler in the Senior Citizens League and was a member and the secretary of the Wednesday night Commercial league for many years. He was also a member of Ft. Smith Bowling Hall of Fame. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Tommie, of the home, four children, Nita Pierson and husband David of Alma, Deanna Hamilton and husband Billy of Barling, Terri Goforth and husband Richard Robbins of Alma and Edward Jaros Jr. and Maryann of Little Rock; two sisters Rose Levandowski and husband Harold of Dittmer, Missouri and Lois Lipsinsky and husband Richard of Arnold, Missouri, three brothers Roy Jaros Jr. of St. Louis, Frank Jaros of St. Louis and William Stelmach and wife Michelle of Kansas City, Missourr; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Florence Gowseiow. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith, Ark. followed with interment with full military honors at The U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Ark. Pallbearers will be grandsons. Family visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith, Ark.
