Thomas Richard Mason

Thomas Richard Mason, 76 of Bradford, Arkansas went to be with the Lord Sunday, April 21, 2013. Thomas was born October 8, 1938 to the late Kenneth and Mabel Hickmon Mason. He served four years in the Army and was a teacher having taught in Augusta, Bradford and Bald Knob schools. He also ran the family farm and Mason's Pool and Lakes. Thomas was a member of the Bradford Baptist Church and a member of the Masonic Fraternity where he served as Worshipful Master and Treasurer of Byers Lodge #81, Free and Accepted Masons of Bradford, Arkansas. Thomas also served the Bradford Chapter #482 and Pangburn Chapter # 502. Thomas is survived by his wife Pat Barnes Mason; two sons: Thomas E. Mason and wife Janet, David S. Mason and wife Star and three grandchildren: Catherine, Alex and Maggie. He is preceded in death by his parents Kenneth and Mabel Mason, a son Kenneth R. Mason and a brother William H. Mason. Vistation will be held Thursday, April 25, 2013 at the Bradford Funeral Home Chapel in Bradford from 6-8pm and funeral service will be Friday, April 26, 2013 at Bradford Baptist Church in Bradford with interment to follow at Hickmon Cemetery in Bradford, Arkansas. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Hickmon Cemetery Fund or Christmas for Kids Fund both at Citizens State Bank in Bradford, Arkansas; or to the charity of your choice.
