Alfred B. Black Sr.

Alfred B. Black, Sr., 55, of Jacksonville, Ark. passed on April 17, 2013. Alfred Bernard Black Sr. was born May 6, 1957 to the union of Vernon Sr. and Pauline Black in Helena, Arkansas. He leaves to cherish his memories, wife, Carolyn J. Black, three sons; Alfred Jr. (Evelyn), Jamaica (Tanisha), Artie of Russellville, Ark., one daughter; Toccara (Kevin) Shorter, his father, Vernon Black Sr., two brothers; Vernon Jr.(Mary), and Sylvester (Chandra), three sisters; Dorothy (Larry) Bonds, Debra (Robin), and Ruby (Ken) Moore, two beloved granddaughters; Kayla and Areonna Sublett. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 1200 Hanger Hill Dr., Little Rock, Ark. with Rev. Willie Buchanan officiating the services.
