Cluss Montgomery Jr.

Cluss Montgomery Jr., devout Christian, devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, departed this life on April 21, 2013 at the age of 82. He was born on July 21st, 1930 in Humnoke, Arkansas to the late Cluss and Laura Montgomery. He is survived by his wife Ruthene; siblings: Alfred (Gloria) Montgomery of Little Rock, Ark.; the late Alice (Cromwell) Scarbrough of Chicago, Ill.; Gladys (Leonard) Holland of Little Rock, Ark.; Melba (the late James Henry) Paxton; Rosine (the late John) Martin of Chicago, Ill.; Curtis Montgomery of Little Rock, Ark.; Carolyn (Thomas) Cureton of Little Rock, Ark.; Sandra Davis of Little Rock, Ark.; children: Charlene (Manuel) Kelley of Pine Bluff, Ark.; Gary (Vernita) Montgomery of Little Rock, Ark.; Gail (Kenneth) White of Little Rock, Ark.; Darryl Montgomery of Kansas City, Mo.; 12 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. A retired mechanic, he loved music, spending time with family, fishing, and teaching Bible Study. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, neighbors and church members. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at 2 p.m. at the Church of the Living God located at 924 West 31st Street, Little Rock, Ark. In lieu of flowers or food, contributions may be made to the Impact on the Family Ministries.
