Carvel Clinton "C.C." " Sonny" Gage, Jr., age 72 of Monticello, Ark. died Wednesday April 24. Born March 21, 1941 in Camden, Ark. a son of the late Carvel Clinton Gage, Sr. and Helen Louise Benton Gage he was a retired U.S. Navy commander, veteran of the Vietnam War and member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Warren. Also, preceding him in death was a sister Frances Rosemay "Missy" Gage and a father-in-law Kenneth Reep. Survivors are his wife Karen Sue Reep Gage whom he married February 1, 1986; two sons, William Clinton Gage and spouse Lisa, Magnolia, Texas. and Kenneth Carvel "K.C." Gage, Monticello, Ark.; one daughter, Pastor Angela Joan Gage and spouse John Michael, Paragould, Ark.; one brother, Sheriff Thomas Gage and spouse Ollie Nell, Magnolia, Texas; two grandchildren, Bailey Leighanne Gage, Paragould, Ark. and Cody Clinton Gage, Magnolia, Texas; a mother-in-law, Katie Sue Reep, Warren, Ark.; brothers-in-law Kip Reep, Kay Reep and spouse Jeanie all of Warren, Ark.; sister-in-law, Kena Trammel and spouse Mike, Thornton, Ark.
