Shirley Ann Sparkman-Strassle

Shirley Ann Sparkman-Strassle, 69, of Guy, passed away Thursday, April 24, 2013. She was a homemaker and a member of Copperas Springs Baptist Church. She was born November 28, 1943 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Hubert Ward and Lucille Finch Ward. She is survived by her husband, John Strassle, three daughters, Janet Wimberly (Chris) of Sherwood, Arkansas, Sabra Taylor of Minden, Louisiana and Tammy Trotter of Billings, Montana, one granddaughter and two great grandchildren. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband Doy Sparkman and her parents, Hubert and Lucille Ward. Funeral services are 1 p.m. Saturday, April 27, 2013 at Copperas Springs Baptist Church with burial in Old Texas Cemetery with Brother Gary Burdin officiating. Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier. Pallbearers are Jeff Honey, Chris Wimberly, DeWayne Passmore, Jeremy Passmore, Lawrence Billington and Randy Thorn. Arrangements by Roller-McNutt Greenbrier.
