Thelma Ruth Uekman

Thelma Ruth Uekman, 82, of Conway passed away Saturday, April 27, 2013. She was born in Van Buren Arkansas to the late Henry and Chillieloettie McElyea. She is preceded in death by her husband, Herman J. Uekman; parents; great-grandson Jacob House; and three brothers, Ray, Henry, and Walter McElyea. She is survived by two sons, Tommy Uekman (Judith) of Washington State, and Robert Uekman (Paula) of Conway; three daughters Vickie Wood (Phillip) of Jacksonville, Donna Epperson (Blaine) of Conway, and Susan Crow of Mountain Home; two sisters, Rose Conner and Sue Webster of Tulsa Oklahoma; one brother Bob McElyea of Cabot; 13 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the brothers and sister of Herman Uekman for their support during mom's illness. Also thanks to the Hospice of Conway for their support and care during this time.
