William Joseph (Bill) Nolan, Jr.

William Joseph (Bill) Nolan, Jr. 77, of Shirley, Arkansas went to Heaven Sunday, July 28, 2013. He was born May 27, 1936 in Chicago, Illinois to the late William and Irene Nolan. He was married to his loving wife, Patsy (Jacobs) Nolan May 8, 2003. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps for two years and was a retired veteran of 22 years in the U.S. Air Force as a Tech Sgt. Bill loved his country life, along with his dogs, golfing, and the Chicago Cubs and Bears. He is survived by his children, William Nolan (Patricia) of Alabama; Catherine Phillips (Jeffery) of New Mexico; Matthew Nolan of Virginia; and Sara O'Toole (Joe) of California; grandchildren, Michael, Jon-Erik, Phillip, Nina, TJ, Charley, John Mark, and Tyler, great-grandchildren, Aiden, and Kylee, step-children, Marx Mitchell of Arkansas; Donna Hienly of New Mexico; Ilsa Mitchell-Jencks of Hawaii; and Raymond Mitchell of Florida. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday, August 1, 2013 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Chapel Clinton, Arkansas. Graveside service 12 noon Friday, August 2, 2013 at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 West Maryland Avenue, North Little Rock, Ark.
