Fannie Bell Guenther

Fannie Bell Roach Guenther, 69, of Tollville went to her heavenly home to meet her family and God surrounded by her family on August 1, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hall V. and Clarice Ray Roach; her husband of 30 years, Donald Guenther; her two sisters, Joann Roach Weatherley and Martha Lue Cunningham and her brother, Hall Virgil Roach, Jr. Fannie is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Dale) Duell of Hazen; two sons, Donnie (Cherilyn) Guenther of Hazen and Timmy (Kim) Guenther of Tollville; four grandchildren, Samantha Duell of Hazen, Matthew Duell of Ft. Campbell, Kentucky, Paige Guenther of Stuttgart and Jamie Guenther of Tollville and one great-granddaughter, Faith Duell of Hazen. Fannie was born January 27, 1944 in Brown Grove, Arkansas. She was a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Tollville. Before Donald's passing in 1993, Fannie was a homemaker and a babysitter. She also cleaned everything that Donald and the boys killed and brought home including duck, deer, squirrel, and fish. She also tended the garden, canning and freezing every summer. After Donald's passing, she went to work at Hazen Nursing Center as a cook. She retired from there after 17 years to take care of her granddaughters and great-granddaughter. Visitation was held Friday, August 2, 2013 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Westbrook Funeral Home in Hazen. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, August 3, 2013 at St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Tollville, with burial in Walter's Chapel Cemetery. Arrangements are by Westbrook Funeral Home of Hazen. Pallbearers are Tim Roach, Jimbo Guenther, Ricky Guenther,Todd Guenther, Dustin Castleberry and Dillon Castleberry. Honorary pallbearers are Daniel Cunningham, Terry Snyder, Jimmy Guenther, Wayne Guenther, Jackie Todd, Leslie Gaddy, Billy Gaddy, David Hayes, Scott Guenther, and Jackie Snyder.
