Madison Franklin Burt age 79 of Warren, Ark., died Saturday, Aug. 3rd in the Bradley County Medical Center. He was born December 27th, 1933 in Wilmer, Ark., a son of the late Willie "Bill" Burt and Sophia "Sophie" Prinzing Burt. He was owner and operator of Frank Burt Logging for 52 years, he served his country proudly in the United States Navy and was a dedicated member of First Freewill Baptist Church, where he was a Sunday School teacher and trustee. Frank was a charter member and supporter of the Log-A-Load for many years. Also preceding his in death are brothers Kay August" Doodle" Burt, Harrison Burt, Walter Burt and a granddaughter Amanda Gayle Woodard. He is survived by his wife Mary Nell Hogue Burt, whom he married Nov. 14, 1953. A son Mark Burt and spouse Kandy, Warren, Ark. A daughter Gina Woodard and spouse Petie, Warren, Ark. Three sisters Amanda Johns, Little Rock, Ark., Loretta Pace, Vicksburg, Miss., and Janice Tate, Warren, Ark. Five grandchildren, Maribeth Gambill and spouse Richard, Perryville, Ark., Burt Woodard and spouse Justin Beth, Warren, Ark.; Randy Burt and fiancé Stacia, Conway, Ark., Emily Vickers and spouse Ethan, Warren, Ark., and B. J. Kidwell and spouse Sydney, Warren, Ark. 5 great-grandchildren Will, Reed, Luci Woodard all of Warren, Gabi Gambill, Perryville, Ark. and Bentley Burt, Conway, Ark. Funeral services 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6th at Frazer's Chapel. Burial in Willoughby Cemetery by Frazer's Funeral Home. Visitation 6-8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 5th at Frazer's Funeral Home.
