Donnie Clay Bonner of Fordyce, Arkansas our beloved brother, dad, and "Paw Paw" has transitioned to his eternal home on Monday August 5, 2013. He was born July 2, 1933 in Lafayette, Tennessee, son of the late Elmer Clarence Bonner and Ruby Morgan Bonner. He died at the age of 80 due to natural causes. Donnie was a long time resident of Fordyce, working in the oilfield industry in the Gulf of Mexico region. He retired to Fordyce in 1984 where he enjoyed gardening, tinkering, and a deep love for his family and life. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Billie Sue Wallace Bonner. Donnie is survived by one brother, Montie (Lou) Bonner; a sister, Betty Sue (Bobby) Quantz; a son, Donnie Bonner, II; three daughters, Janice (Nelson) Brumley, DeAnna (Raymond) Marvel, and Sherri Bonner Lumley; 12 grandchildren, Crystal, Jonathan, Christopher, Laura, Aimee, Andre'a, Brian, Jerry, Kathryn, Kyle, Clay and Kady and 11 great-grandchildren. He was a kind and considerate loving man who was willing to do for everybody and a helper and friend to anyone. A gentleman who genuinely cared for the needs of his fellow man. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel.
