Ernestine Squires Nugent

Ernestine Squires Nugent, a 37 year resident of Peachtree City passed away August 5, from cancer. She is survived by her husband Peter J. Nugent, four children: son Paul & Lucia Nugent; daughter Patricia & Jim Mitchell; son David & Jennifer Nugent; and daughter Rebecca & Chris Marosy; and fourteen grandchildren: Michaela and Rebecca West; Lucia Ellen Bird; Maria, Alex, and Christopher Nugent; Mackenzie, Emery, Riley, and Nathan Mitchell; Grant and Abigail Nugent; and Stallings and Shelby Marosy. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church where she organized Holy Trinity Gift Shop, served in the Circle of Friends and many other parish organizations. Ernie was the daughter of Homer and Flossie Squires of Little Rock, Arkansas. Her siblings are Bobby Squires, Dorothy Mills, Joseph Squires (deceased), Jimmy Squires, and Sybil Bowden. She will be remembered most of all as a devoted wife, and a gentle, patient, humble, and kind mother and friend to all. Visitation is Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Mowell Funeral Home, Peachtree City. A funeral Mass will be held Friday, August 9, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Peachtree City, Georgia.
