Louise Temple Burchfield

Louise Temple Burchfield, age 83, of Harrison, Ark., formerly of Crossett, Ark., passed away Friday, Aug. 9, 2013 at her home. She was born Feb. 21, 1930 to her parents, James Robert and Dessie Colvin Temple in Hermitage, Ark. Louise was a Security Guard for Georgia Pacific for 15 years, retired from The Baudour Center of Senatobia, Miss. after 20 years and was a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, C. I. Burchfield; three sisters, Agnes Owens, Martha Vardaman, Sarah Williamson; and two brothers, James Robert Temple and Oliver Rice. She is survived by her four children, Cynthia Donaldson (Jimmy) of Yellville, Ark., Carla McNeely (Jess) of Senatobia, Miss., Charles Isom "Buck" Burchfield, III. (Shelley) of Haskell, Ark. and James Robert "Bob" Burchfield (Jeannie) of Benton, Ark.; two sisters, Maxine Dixon of Senatobia, Miss. and Betty New of Crossett, Ark. and one brother, Dr. George Rice of Vicksburg, Miss.; 11 grandchildren, Justin Donaldson, Jenny Sipes (Jason), Zach Burchfield (Megan), Mary Margaret Jones, Benjamin Joshlin, James Robert Burchfield Jr., Ann Marie Burchfield, Hayden, Bailey and Kaylin Burchfield and Haley Barnett; three great-grandchildren, Jadyn Cooper Sipes, Clariel Jones and Minor Isom Jones. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 12, 2013 at Jones Funeral Home Chapel with Bob Burchfield officiating. Burial will follow at Pinewood Memorial Park under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett, Ark. Visitation will be Sunday, Aug. 11, 2013 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
