Barbara Nadene Bedell Davidson Fox, 85, of Cabot, passed away Monday, August 19, 2013. She was born April 20, 1928 in Lonoke County to the late Albert and Susie Hays Bedell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Paul J. Davidson and her second husband, Audra T. Fox, her half brother, Wylie Glover and half sister, Rothie Nipper. Barbara was a loving and wonderful mother and grandmother that enjoyed quilting, cooking, canning, camping, gardening, playing and teaching piano, traveling and singing at church. She was a school teacher for over 35 years, beginning her career in a one room schoolhouse in the Bethlehem community teaching first through ninth grades, and later taught for the Cabot School District. She was an active member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church and was the church organist. Other organizations include active membership in the Arkansas Education Association, Arkansas Baptist Association, Delta Kappa Gamma, Daughters of the American Revolution and Order of the Eastern Star, where she was past Grand Representative to Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island in Arkansas and enjoyed her travels there. She was also active in the Davidson Church Camp in Hollywood, Arkansas. Survivors are her children, David A. Davidson and his wife, Clara of Tampa, Florida and Deborah A. Pennington of Cabot; and her grandchildren, Christopher S. Ringgold and his wife, Jennifer, Theresa L. Ringgold and her fiance', David B. Smith and Paul M. Davidson. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, 10525 Mount Pleasant Cutoff, Cabot, Arkansas 72023. Funeral services are 11 a.m. Thursday, August 22, 2013 at the church, with Brother Dennis Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
