She is survived by husband of 30+ years: Jeffery Brown, stepmother: Julia Anderson, five sons; Keith (Nicki) Barnes, Joe Gilkey, Jr., Kelvin (Quan) Gilkey, Donald Gilkey, Ronald (Charlene) Gilkey, three daughters; Lisa (Dave) Williams, Mona (Larry) Alexander, Angela Gilkey, step son; Jeffery Brown, Jr., step daughter; Shekita Akins, one brother; Robert Dolphins, two sisters; Freddie Mae Lawson, Mildred Lawson, 24 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, two special children; Christopher McClendon & Jasmine Gilkey, countless other family members and friends.
