Louis Brown Sr. transitioned from this life, to his new life Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at DeWitt City Hospital of DeWitt, Arkansas. He was born January 11, 1933 in Reydell, Arkansas to the late George and Catherine Brown. He left a legacy, treasure trove of memories "Give me two (2) dollars", laughter and love for generations to come. He leaves to cherish his life and legacy eight sons, Ezell, Eddie, Louis Jr. "Q", Jimmy (Toni) Brown of Little Rock, Arkansas, Gregory Brown of Moreno Valley, California, Kenneth Wayne Brown Sr. of Austin, Texas, Don Earl Brown of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Curtis W. Brown of West Bend, Wisconsin; four daughters, Mattie (Elder Bennie) Allen of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Annette (Darnell) Bledsoe of Stuttgart, Arkansas, Kim L. Brown of DeWitt, Arkansas and Sheila Vanlandingham of Norfolk, Virginia; two brothers, James F.W. "Buddy" and Boris Brown of DeWitt, Arkansas; a special granddaughter that he raised as his own, Erica Y. Brown of Little Rock, Arkansas; three adopted sons, Larry D. Cohns of Austin, Texas, James Bratton of Little Rock, Arkansas and Travis Burse of DeWitt, Arkansas. He exemplified a special love for his 30 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, August 24, 2013 at United Methodist Church, 608 South Grandview, DeWitt, Arkansas. Interment will be in Morning Glory Cemetery by the P.K.
