Philip Binz

After 63 years of life God called His son, Philip Binz, home on August 22, 2013. He was born October 13, 1949 in Little Rock to the late Herman and Vergie Binz. Philip was co-owner of Herman Binz and Sons Iron Works until he retired. He was a Duncan YoYo champion in his teenage years, winning an all-expense paid trip to Disney Land in California. Phil also liked to play softball, enjoyed traveling and watching sports. He loved spending time with his grandkids, watching them play outside and swim. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Gracie Binz; two children, Jason McNutt and Bridget McNutt; two brothers, John A Binz (Fern) and David E. Binz; (Donna); sister, Carolyn S. Beck (John); four grandchildren, Hunter McNutt, Brendie McNutt, Brendan McNutt and Hayden McNutt. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the North Little Rock Funeral Home, a Smith Family Funeral Home. Burial will be in Weedon Cemetery, Pettus, Arkansas.
