Eric D. Barbaree, age 76, of Lewisville, Ark. passed away Sunday, Aug. 25, 2013, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born March 12, 1937 in Lewisville, Ark. to Arval Steve and Audie Formby Barbaree. Mr. Barbaree was a retired MSgt. with the United States Air Force, retired from Lafayette County, faithful volunteer for Spanish missions out of Canfield, Ark., served as a church deacon, his greatest joy was the love he received from his family. Mr. Barbaree was preceded in death by his parents, one Brother, Hoyt Barbaree, and a Daughter-in-Law, Claiborne Barbaree. He is survived by his loving wife of fifty-five years, Esther Barbaree of Lewisville, Ark.; six children: Glen Barbaree of Tyler, Texas; Sandy Barbaree Thornton and husband Rodney of Bodcaw, Ark.; Kathy Barbaree Ross of West Monroe, La.; Eric Barbaree and wife Angie of Hope, Ark.; Karen Barbaree Ivers and husband Jimmy of Hope, Ark.; and Mark Barbaree of Red Oak, Texas. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2013 at the First Baptist Church in Stamps with Bro. Charles Bell and Bro. Mike Turner officiating. Interment will follow at the Shiloh Methodist Cemetery in Falcon, Ark. under the direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 26, 2013 at the funeral home in Stamps. Online registration is available at www.aosmithfuneralhome.com
