Ruby Mae Marshall

Ruby Mae Marshall, 100, of Hernando, Mississippi, formerly of the Sixteenth Section Community, died Tuesday, August 27, 2013. She was born July 21, 1913 in the Sixteenth Section Community to the late Arthur and Blanch Lee Pool. She was a former member of and very active in the Sixteenth Section United Methodist Church and a current member of Minor Memorial United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Marshall was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Marshall; her sister, Effie Pearl Wheeler; her brothers, Raymond Pool and Hubert Pool; her sons, Earl Marshall, Billy Ray Marshall and Richard Harold Marshall and a granddaughter, Rebecca Sue Marshall. Mrs. Marshall is survived by her daughter, Patty Taylor (Terry) of Hernando, Mississippi; her grandchildren, Rick Marshall, Mike Marshall (Becky), James Marshall (Ginger), Brian Marshall, Jonathan Marshall (Joy), Jason Marshall, Andrea Greenhill (Kevin) and Allison Taylor as well as 10 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 12 to 1 p.m. Friday, August 30, 2013 with funeral services beginning at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Moore's Cabot Funeral Home (501) 843-5816.
