Laurie Ann Osment

Laurie Ann Osment of Searcy died December 3, 2013 at the age of 60. She was born July 7, 1953 to Neil and Janice Osment. Laurie had the sweet and loving spirit of a child for her entire life, and her sweetness brought a smile to the faces of everyone she knew. She deeply loved her family and friends, and she always enjoyed making people happy. Her loved ones will always cherish the example of sweetness and sincerity she was to those around her. Laurie was preceded in death by her parents, Neil and Janice Osment ; brothers Warren "Neil" Osment, Jr. and Charles Osment and cousin, Chris Osment. She is survived by her sisters-in-law, Virginia Osment and Becky Osment; nieces, Sarah Kline, Kathryn Osment, Emily Osment; nephew Colin Osment, and numerous family members in Jonesboro and Texas. She is also survived by her caregivers at Oakdale Nursing Facility whom she loved as family. Her family would like to express their thanks for the excellent care given to Laurie at Oakdale. Memorial donations may be made to The Sunshine School in Searcy. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. on Monday, December 9, 2013 at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home Chapel in Searcy.
