Ray Edwards

Ray Edwards, 81, of Bee Branch passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2013. He was born on Tuesday, March 15, 1932 in Fairbanks, Arkansas to the late Olen and Florence (Holland) Edwards. He is survived by five sons, Denny Edwards (Connie), Michael Edwards (Judy), Ricky Dean Edwards, Ryan Edwards (Beverlee), and Eric Edwards; three daughters, Karen Scarberry (Eddie), Charlotte Hudspeth (David), and Ellen Willis (Ricky); 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Edith Kennedy and Patsy McCormick; and brothers, Daniel Fay Edwards and Colen Edwards. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Bonnie (Duncan) Edwards; and brother, Fay Edwards. Services will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at Sand Springs Missionary Baptist Church with Brother Cecil Burgess officiating. Burial will follow at Sand Springs Cemetery with Kalab Scarberry, Justin Hudspeth, Ray Edwards, Daniel Edwards, Cody Willis, and Riley Roberson serving as pallbearers. Haze Hulse, Olen Edwards, Isaac Hulse, Wrigley Stacy, and Logan Ward will serve as honorary pallbearers. Visitation will be from 10-12 noon on Thursday at the church.
