Ruby LaFaye Doerpinghaus Spears

Ruby LaFaye Doerpinghaus Spears, age 83, died December 4, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mack Spears; son, Donald Ray Spears; parents, Herman and Annie Doerpinghaus; siblings, Bill Doerpinghaus and Leona Inman. Survivors are children, Mickey Kindrick, Gary (Sharon) Spears, Shelia (Wade) Currie, Julie Spears, and Chip Spears; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; and sister, Peggy (Norman) Eason. Visitation will be today 1 to 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church with funeral service following at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Cedarcrest Memorial Gardens by Essex Funeral Home.
