Richard Lynn "Rick" Brady

Richard Lynn "Rick" Brady died Nov. 24, 2013 in San Diego. He was 65 years old. Rick was born in Little Rock, Ark. At age eight, the family moved to Phoenix, Ariz. In 1965, when Rick was a junior in high school, the family relocated back to Arkansas. He graduated from North Little Rock High School and The University of Arkansas Little Rock, with a degree in Political Science. He was a member of Sigma Nu fraternity. Rick had a long career in sales and marketing, public broadcasting and advertising. He retired in San Diego, Calif. He is survived by: his parents, Clifford and Mary Ann Brady of North Little Rock; son, Justin Brady (Erin), daughters, Anna and Ellen of Little Rock; son, Adam Brady (Tracy), children Alex, Kayla and Kourtney of Tulsa, Okla.; daughter, Emily Brady Duke (Steven), children Maisy, Brady and Mary Ava of Little Rock. He is also survived by his sister, Jackie Hay (Milton) of San Diego, and her daughters: Julie Hitt Hayden (Steve) of Bend, Oregon; Amanda Hitt; and Jordan Hitt, and her son Joaquin Quetzal of San Diego, Calif. Rick was known for his positive outlook on life, his ability to see strengths in others, and for being a source of encouragement. He will be missed by many. A memorial service will be held: Friday, Dec. 13, 2013 at 2 p.m. St. Paul's PACE 111 Elm St., San Diego, Calif. 92103.
