Preston Arnold was born September 1, 1937 in Holly Grove Arkansas to the late Weston and Lucy Bell Arnold. He was affectionately known as Joe Louis. Preston (Joe) entered into eternal life on December 4, 2013. He attended the Holly Grove School System. Joe married his childhood sweetheart Geneva McGahee. He later moved to Chicago. Joe worked for ABC Rubber Company, and later he spent many years on the road as a bus driver for Albert king and his band. Joe Retired and moved to Hot Springs Arkansas, there he joined Eureka Baptist church and became a faithful member. He was predeceased by a son, Pershaun Sain; brothers, James Laborn and Lawrence Arnold. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Geneva Arnold of Hot Springs, Arkansas; three sons, Preston Staten of Kansas City, Mo., Juan Flowers of Baton Rouge, La., and Tawan Sain of Chicago, Ill.; three brothers, Weston (Venice) Arnold, Rev. Otho Neil (Sophia) Andrews, and Carl V. Arnold all of Holly Grove Arkansas; two sisters, Alma Sain of Chicago, Illinois, Jessie Ree (Jimmy) Walker of Stuttgart, Ark.; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, family, cousins, and friends who will cherish his memories. Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Saturday, December 14, 2013 at First Baptist Church, Holly Grove, Ark. with Rev. Ronald Laurent pastor and Rev. Steve R. Lake officiating. Burial and graveside service will be at 3 p.m. at Crestview Memorial Park Cemetery, Hot Springs, Ark. Visitation will be Friday, December 13, 2013 from 5-7 p.m. at Eureka Baptist Church, Hot Springs, Ark. Guest registry is at http://www.carriganmemorial.com.
