Bonnie Maxine Wallace

BONNIE MAXINE WALLACE, 83, of Little Rock, died on Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2013. She was born on May 6, 1930, in Pleasant Plains, Ark., to the late Oliver and Ethel Wallace. Maxine attended Capital City Business College and was a former employee of Commercial National Bank where she was a vice president. She retired in 1998 from the Arkansas Student Loan Authority where she'd worked a number of years. She was active in Professional Credit International where she served as treasurer. She was also a distributor for Shaklee products. Maxine was a member of Rose Hill Church of the Nazarene where she served as church treasurer, Sunday School teacher, and was church organist for many years. Maxine was preceded in death by sisters Ruby Hook, Neva Caplener, and Aliene Hodges and by brothers, Ottie Wallace and Opie Wallace. She is survived by her sister, Lorell Boles, several nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews, and many friends. Family visitation will be from 10 – 11 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 16 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock 72211 (501) 224-8300. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. following the visitation in the chapel with the Reverend Steve Comeans officiating. Interment will be at Pleasant Plains Cemetery in Independence County. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made in memory of Maxine to Rose Hill Church of the Nazarene, 11001 Kanis Road, Little Rock, Ark. 72211.
