Hugh Sheeks died Monday. Retired railroad machinist; U.S. Army veteran; member, deacon, and Sunday School teacher of the Baptist church for over 50 years. Survivors: wife, Nancy Sheeks; five sons; one daughter; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one brother. Visitation Thursday, 6-8 p.m., Olmstead Funeral Home. Funeral Friday, 11 a.m., Pearson Palestine Baptist Church. Memorials may be sent to the church and cemetery.
