Corey Bernard Nooner, 39, Bryant departed this life on Thursday, December 12th. Corey was born May 17, 1974 to Fayrene Nooner. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Jessie Pride and uncles Gerald Pride and Michael Hall. He is survived by his wife, Teresa Nooner and son Ethan Nooner, brothers, Andre (Dawnre) Nooner and Kenneth "Ray" (Kandis) Nooner, sisters, Stephanie and Amber Surratt and a close family friend John Henry Surratt. Corey graduated from Little Rock Central High in 1992. He attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and Phoenix University. He started at Arkansas Children's Hospital as a Telecom Operator and worked his way up to Manager of Operator Services. He was well liked within his department and throughout the entire hospital. Corey had a passion for photography and poetry. A business grew out of his love for photography. It was affectionately named "Coreography". Corey also often served as a Disc Jockey for many events. He was a long time advocate of the AAU Lions Football Team. He supported the team with his time, talents, energy and finances. The Lions Team honored Corey by giving him a plaque. Visitation will be held Friday, December 20, 2013 from 6-7 p.m. at the Friendly Chapel of the Nazarene, 116 South Pine North Little Rock. The Home going Ceremony will be held, Saturday December 21st 10 a.m. at The Friendly Chapel of the Nazarene with Brother Paul Holderfield Jr.-Senior Pastor officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park 10200 Highway 5 North Alexander, Arkansas.
