Lois J. Edmonds

Lois J. Edmonds Calley 93, of Gurdon, Arkansas passed away December 19, 2013. She was born September 21, 1920 in Gurdon to the late Edward "Bud" Edmonds and Rena Ryan Edmonds. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Roland F. Calley; sister, Mary Jewell Edmonds Childres. Lois was a homemaker and owner of the Shoe Box in Gurdon for 36 years and was also the secretary for Calley's Fina Station for 37 years. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Gurdon, Arkansas. She is survived by two sons, Roland Earl Calley (Linda) and Johnny Calley (Reia) of Gurdon, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Melissa Calley, Paul Calley (Laryssa), Mindy Williams (Tim), Jeanie White (Kelly), Misty Woolf (Jack) and Nick Calley (Yolanda); eight great grandchildren, Kenzee and Kurt Calley, Callie and Garret White, Brandon and Emily Williams and Cain and Carley Calley. Visitation will be Saturday, December 21, 2013 between the hours of 6-8 p.m. at the Pharr Funeral Home of Gurdon. Services will be Sunday, December 22, 2013 at 2 p.m. in the First Assembly of God Church in Gurdon, Arkansas with Bro. Andrew Goodwin officiating. Interment to follow in Rosehedge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Assembly of God Church in Gurdon, 1007 East Main, Gurdon, Arkansas 71743.
