Dale Wayne Mauldin
DALE WAYNE MAULDIN, 72, of Jacksonville, Ark. passed away Thursday, Dec. 19, 2013 at the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center in Dublin, Ga.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Dec. 28 at 3 p.m. in the Chapel at Griffin Leggett-Rest Hills, 7724 Landers Rd., North Little Rock, Ark., with Brother Paul Rice officiating. There will be a viewing two hours prior to the service. The family will meet with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 27 at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
Dale was born on Sept. 15, 1941 in North Little Rock. He was a United States Army Veteran serving his country in Vietnam as an Airborne Infantryman where he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Purple Heart Medal w 1OLC, Combat Infantry Badge, and Parachutist Badge.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother. Survivors include a brother, Joe Mauldin, of North Little Rock; two sisters, Reba Lytle of Sherwood, Ark. and Helen Stricklin of North Little Rock, Ark.; three sons, Thomas W. Mauldin of Lakeland, Fla., Michael D. Mauldin and Lafayette S. Mauldin of Jesup, Ga.; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
