Cathrine Johnson Marshall, 75, of Jacksonvile, passed away December 25, 2013. She was born April 21, 1938 in Bauxite to the late Richard and Rosa Opal Kitchens Johnson. Cathrine was retired from the Internal Revenue Service working there from 1982 till 2005. She was a Boy Scout Leader and was the recipient of the honorary Silver Beaver Scout Award. Cathrine was also an avid golfer, making a hole in one at the Internal Revenue Service Golf Tournament. She loved gardening and especially bird watching. She was preceded in death by her parents and eldest son, Tilford W. Marshall II. Survivors, children, Cathrine "Katie" Marshall Davis, Kurt A. Marshall, Christopher Robin Marshall all of Jacksonville, Arkansas, Lindsay P. Marshall and wife, Ginny of Cabot, grandchildren, Cole A. Davis and girlfriend, Deanna M. Manning of Cedar Park, Texas, Tara N. Marshall-Wilbanks and Gary of Lonoke, Arkansas, Peyton S. Thomas of Cabot, Arkansas, great-grandson, Nicholas G. Longoria-Davis of Cedar Park, Texas, siblings, Patricia Van Winkle and Rusty Johnson of Hot Springs, and many loved ones near and dear in and around the Benton/Bauxite area. Graveside services by Ashby Funeral Home will be 2 p.m. Saturday at New Rosemont Cemetery. Visitation will be at Ashby Funeral Home, Saturday, 12 p.m. until 1 p.m. with burial to follow at New Rosemont Cemetery. Online guest book at www.ashbyfuneralhome.com.
