Albert Earnest Faver Jr.

Albert Earnest Faver Jr., 56, of White Hall, died Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. He was born May 30, 1957 in Pine Bluff, son of Albert Earnest Faver Sr. and Margie Lorene Lutrell Faver. Mr. Faver was reared and received his early education in Altheimer and DeWitt, graduating from DeWitt High School. He earned his BA in music from the University of Central Arkansas. He taught music in the Pine Bluff School District for many years before becoming the art teacher at L.L. Owen Elementary School in Watson Chapel. Mr. Faver was very talented in both art and music. He sang in productions at the Arkansas Opera Theatre, also known as the Wildwood Park for the Arts. He was a member of the Mid-Southern Watercolorists, Arkansas Arts Center and Thea Foundation. Albert was recently selected to have one of his paintings displayed at the Arkansas Historical Museum. He was preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his mother, Margie Lorene Faver and sister, Margie Durbin, both of Swan Lake; niece, Carrie Durbin who is serving in the United States Air Force and nephew, Jere Durbin who is serving in the United States Navy. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2013 in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son with Reverends Joe Meador and Travis Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Flat Bayou Cemetery.
