Gladys Clark Allen

GLADYS CLARK ALLEN was born on July 12, 1923 in Winchester, Ark. She made her transition to heaven on Dec. 26, 2013 at St. Vincent Hospital in Little Rock, Ark. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar Clark and Birthola Thomas; husband, Fred Allen Sr.; brother, Jack Barnes; and two sons, Van Pearson and James Allen. She leaves enduring memories to her devoted children: four daughters, Bertha Rucker, Minnie A. Tillman, Ruth Allen-Gee, and Marnetta Allen. Four sons, Fred Allen Jr., Sylvester Allen, Donald Allen (Brenda), and Richard Allen (Tina), all of Little Rock, Ark. 21 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Family hour will be Friday Jan. 3, 2014 from 6-7 p.m. and funeral services will be Saturday Jan. 4, 2 p.m. with both services at Otter Creek Assembly of God Church 9415 Stagecoach Rd. Little Rock.
