Clara Lee "Muff" Butcher Christine

Clara Lee "Muff" Butcher Christine, 92, of Gillett, died December 19, 2013. She was born June 15, 1921 to Charlie Clinton Butcher and Carrie Bitely Butcher. Muff was a homemaker and a member of Gillett United Methodist Church. Muff was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joe Tom Christine; two sons-in-law, Norman Neely and Dr. Layne Collums, Jr. Survivors include her daughters, Betty Neely of DeWitt and Jackie Collums of Vernon, Texas; four grandchildren, Christy (John) Wells of Maumelle, Jodi Owen of Vernon, Texas, and her children Molli, Ben, and Jaci, LeAnn (Chris) Thomsen of Tempe, Ariz., and Ken (Robin) Collums of Abilene, Texas, and their children Anna and Layne. Funeral services were held December 21 at Gillett United Methodist Church with burial in Gillett Cemetery by Essex Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Gillett Cemetery, c/o Jennifer Lowe, P.O.
