Kenneth Edward Scott

Kenneth Edward Scott, 89, Hot Springs, Arkansas, went home to be with the Lord December 28, 2013. He was born June 10, 1924 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to the late Ira and Esther Ruth (Lewallen) Scott. Kenneth served in the Navy as Aviation Ordinance on the Battleship USS Santee during WWII. He attended the University of Tulsa on a football scholarship. Kenneth worked for Cain's Coffee from 1951–1986 where he was the district manager and was known as "Mr. Coffee". He was loved by everyone he met and will always be in our hearts. He is preceded in death by his parents; two wives Beverly Scott and Iris Jean Scott; two sons Richard Scott and Kenney Scott, Jr.; son-in-law Leonard Ogden and five siblings. Kenneth is survived by his daughters, Donna Quandt (Dan) of Hot Springs Village and Patricia Scott of Hot Springs; two step-daughters Paula Odgen and Pam Henry Smith both of Hot Springs; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be at 12 p.m. Thursday with burial to follow in Pinecrest Cemetery in Alexander Arkansas.
