Nora Mae Phillips

Ms. Nora Mae Phillips, age 81, of Ward, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 29, 2013. She was born on February 17, 1932 in Vilonia to the late Elner and Lillia Ballard. She attended Ward 1st Baptist Church for 50 years. She is also preceded in death by her husband Sidney Soloman Phillips and her brothers, Elmer and Billy Ballard. She is survived by her five children; Larry (Butch) Phillips and wife Sharon of Beebe, Rickey L. Phillips and wife Brenda of Austin, Sheila Taylor and husband Randy of Ward, Mickey D. Phillips and wife Lisa of Fort Smith, and Russell Phillips of Canada, one brother; Dewitt Ballard of Austin, one sister; Linda Jean Harvey, thirteen grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, December 31, at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 700 N. Second, Cabot, 72023, with Bro. Bill Hillburn officiating.
