Ella Thweatt Henry, 98, died January 30, 2013, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff. Ella was a loving mother and grandmother and a caring friend. She was a true servant of the Lord who shared her faith with a tender heart that recognized God's amazing grace. Ella was born August 12, 1914, in Sparkman, the daughter of Howard Owen Thweatt and Elvira Thweatt. Ella attended Henderson State Teachers College at Arkadelphia and taught school at Bluff City (Nevada County), where she married Hudson Henry in 1937. They moved to Pine Bluff in 1939. Ella was a charter member of Forrest Park Baptist Church in Pine Bluff. She worked for several years at Magic Mart before the company was sold. Ella was preceded in death by her husband, who died in 1986, her parents; two brothers, William Thweatt and Robert Thweatt; one granddaughter, Laura Duncan. Survivors include her four children; Carolyn Elms of Pine Bluff, Judy Henry of Chattanooga, Tennessee, John Henry of White Hall, and Betty Fain of Pearland, Texas; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren. There will be no formal visitation but Mrs. Henry will lie in state at Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Directors Friday, February 1, 2013. The funeral service will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, February 2, 2013, in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son with Brother Bud Calhoun officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery by Ralph Robinson & Son. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be sent to Forrest Park Baptist Church, 3706 S.
