Ann Popovitch

Mrs. Ann M. Popovitch of North Little Rock was born March 13, 1925 and passed away on February 1, 2013. She is preceded in death by her husband Edward Popovitch and survived by her daughter Noel Popovitch of North Little Rock, her son Scott Popovitch of Alexander and one granddaughter Jessie Popovitch. She was a long time member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in North Little Rock where she served as a volunteer in the school, her other passions included airplanes and gold script writing. During the 1940's she worked for the Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, California and also as a School Bus driver in the 1960's, one of her proudest accomplishments was that during WWII she worked for G.M. building airplanes to help support her country. She dedicated her life to caring for handicapped children and provided constant love and support as the primary caregiver for her disabled daughter. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 from 5-7 p.m. with funeral services on Wednesday, February 6th, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road in North Little Rock. www.griffinleggettresthills.com.
