Sidney Dwight Jackson

Sidney Dwight "Sid" Jackson, age 37 of Searcy, died Friday, February 1, 2013 in Searcy. He was born February 14, 1975 in Atlanta, Georgia to Sidney Dwight Jackson and Mary Ann Pittman Jackson. Sid was the manager of US Truck Company in Conway, a local DJ, a Board member for Get Down Downtown, active in the Sound Ministry and the Men's Ministry at Fellowship Bible Church and also in Relay for Life. He is survived by his parents, Sidney and Mary Jackson; one sister, Katie Holland and husband Sean; two nieces, Kennedy Holland, Klaire Holland; one nephew, Scott Holland; and one bonus daughter, Katey Carnitz. He is preceded in death by his Mamaw, Jonnie Pittman. Visitation is Wednesday from 5 until 7 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home. A celebration of Sid's life will be Thursday at 4 p.m. at Fellowship Bible Church in Searcy.
