Minnie Lou Reddick

Minnie Lou Wimpy Reddick, 83, went to be with our Lord February 4, 2013. She was born April 4, 1929 in Valley View to the late Gus and Willie Wimpy. She was a member of Mount Carmel Methodist Church, and retired owner of Century 21 Reddick Co. which she operated with her husband. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she also enjoyed bird watching, gardening and was an avid Razorback fan. She is survived by four children, Kathy (Scott) Roti of Leesburg, Fla.; Katie Reddick of Little Rock, Ark.; Jocko (Kerry) Reddick of The Woodlands, Texas; and Troy (Veronica) Reddick of Houston, Texas; two brothers, Paul Wimpy and Gaylon Wimpy, both of Valley View; three sisters, Marcelle Agee of Brookland, Kathleen Berry of Jonesboro and Luke Wimpy of Valley View; 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren. Minnie Lou was preceded in death by her beloved husband of fifty years, Elbert Owen Reddick; her grandson, Joshua Roti; five brothers; DC, Pete, Thad, Archie, and Bob Wimpy. A celebration of her life will be 11 a.m., Thursday, February 7, 2013 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home Chapel with Scott Roti officiating with burial in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.
