Louise Eley Gaston

Louise Eley Gaston, 93, of Batesville died Tuesday in Dallas, Texas. She graduated from the University of Arkansas with a degree in home economics. An avid Razorback fan, she rarely missed a game. She was a member of West Baptist Church where started and taught a couples class and served on many committees. She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia McCulloch of Dallas; three grandchildren, Erin McNeill, Kara Shires, and Lucy Semple; seven great-grandchildren, Jack McNeill, Sophie McNeill, Lola McNeill, Sutton Shires, Estelle Shires, Drew Shires, and Louise Semple; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Felix Gaston. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at West Baptist Church. Burial will be at Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.
