Phillip G. Ericson, 63, of East End, passed away on February 9, 2013. He was born to Gordon and Bonnie Ericson on January 16, 1950 in Fort Scott, Kansas. He graduated from McClellan High School in Little Rock in 1968. He worked for Sears for 30 years in Little Rock and Pine Bluff before retiring in 1999 and beginning a job he truly loved as Transportation Coordinator at CareLink. Phil attended East End Baptist Church, and was a former member of the First Church of God. He was a member and Past Master of Pulaski Heights Masonic Lodge #673. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, traveling, and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his father. Phil is survived by his wife, Jamye Ericson; children Chuck Ericson and wife Molly, of South Jordan, Utah; Heather Terrell and husband Lowell of Lawrence, Kansas; four grandchildren, Joshua Terrell, Benjamin, Emily, and Katie Ericson; his mother, Bonnie Potter Ericson of Heber Springs; brother Randy Ericson and wife Sharon of Little Rock; his wife's children, Casey, Cody, and Thomas Williams; father and mother–in–law, James and Nova Bates, and a host of extended family and friends. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Hospice Home Care and the entire oncology and surgery team at UAMS for their loving care. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to CareLink in his memory P.O. Box 5988, North Little Rock, Ark. 72119. Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 13 from 6-8 p.m. at North Little Rock Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Thursday, February 14 at 10 am at East End Baptist Church with burial following at Salem Cemetery in East End.
