Janice grew up in Crossett, Ark. and graduated from Arkansas A&M (now the University of Arkansas at Monticello) in 1954. She married the late Robert L. She enjoyed traveling with family, time spent with her "school nurses crew," playing bridge, and reading by the ocean at Navarre Beach.
