OPAL HARDCASTLE BOYD LEHMAN, 96, of North Little Rock went to be with the Lord Friday, Feb. 15, 2013. Opal was born in Olmstead, Ark. to the late Lee and Elzie B. Faulkner Hardcastle. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Butler Boyd and Sam Lehman and also by her sisters, Hazle Hall, Ruby Hudson, Clorine Freeman and Murriel Sanders; two brothers, John Hardcastle and Willis (Nute) Hardcastle. She is survived by her sister, Emogene Miller and husband, Boyd of North Little Rock and brother, Thomas Hardcastle and wife, Lillie of Tulsa, Okla.; along with several nieces and nephews. Opal was a Charter member of Trinity United Methodist Church of North Little Rock. She served on all committees in the church, still sang in the choir at 92 years old. She was a Past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star of Jacksonville Chapter #520. She retired from the City of North Little Rock Electric Department. Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd. North Little Rock, Ark. 72116 (501-791-7400) with Reverend Jerry Meeks officiating. Interment will follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Monday, Feb. 18, 2013 at the funeral home. The family wishes to thank all the Nurses and Aids at Robinson Nursing and Rehab Center and Arkansas Hospice for the loving care they gave Opal.
